John A. Lovrien

John Lovrien has an extensive history in the entertainment and music industry originating in the San Francisco bay area down to Los Angeles, Calif. and for the last 13 years in the Gulf Coast region.

His experience includes: Producer & writer for Chrysalis Music, Sony Music & King World Music, recording and performing, live broadcast television & film directing, producing, contract commercial and advertising work with production crews, syndicated sitcoms, public service contracts, music videos, feature vignettes, promotional videos for national & local organizations and schools, and currently a magazine format human interest show for the Christian Television Network.

Along with producing more than 400 feature articles and shows, he also initiated the acquisition of digital media into the Christian Television Network's production department and is the production manager as well as producer/director for the local Christian Television station affiliate, WHBR TV in Pensacola Florida.

John started the first Digital Media Ministry class into the Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola, Florida beginning in the Fall of 1998. This class was created to teach students Broadcast Media fundamentals. Emphasizing a positive influence, direction and the inevitable coming of a pure "Media Age" where new creative directors and producers will be the driving force of television, films and web casting.
Ian Skelley

Ian Skelley graduated with a degree in Communication Arts from the University of West Florida, and has worked in the industry for the last 14 years. He has worked with a number of television studios including PBS, ABC, and has produced and directed more than 200 magazine-format programs for the Christian Television Network.

His experience includes: Field Production, Live Production, Commercial Production, Documentary Production, Music Videos, Short Form Production, & Web Design.

Together with John Lovrien, he helped establish Digital Media Education, a non-profit community-mentoring program designed to create a new generation of positive media producers.
Andy Waltrip attended the Joffrey Ballet School in NYC, where he received his early dance training under Dorothy Lister. He was then accepted to tour with the European cast of "West Side Story" as Baby John. His credits include various regional theatre productions and television commercials. He continued his dance career becoming a principal dancer with the Northwest Florida Ballet, Ballet Pensacola, First City Dance Theatre, and the international cast of Up With People. He acted as a principle in the film "Scouts", and is in the process of producing a new television program for children.

Andy has a Bachelors Degree in Television and Film with a Theatre Minor from the University of West Florida and also an Associates Degree in Engineering from Pensacola Jr. College. Andy grew up, and now resides with his wife and sons in Pensacola, FL and is thrilled to be a part of DME.
Dave Flaton followed his love for video and television production from New Milford, Connecticut to Brownsville Revival School of Ministry in Pensacola, Fl. where he attended the Digital Media Ed class for 3 years. After graduation in 2002, he did his internship with DME at the local Christian Television Network and soon was hired on as a fulltime producer @ WHBR TV, where he continued to grow professionally for two years.

In 2004, Dave decided to pursue a degree from Full Sail in Orlando, Florida in Film and Television Production. Full Sail Real World Education is an innovative, cutting-edge leader in education for the entertainment industry. Dave received his A.A. in 2005 and continued to work in digital video production, also working on his first feature as lead editor on a new documentary.

Dave now resides again in Pensacola, Florida with his wife and his cat and is blessed to work with WHBR TV, Harvest Outreach Church, dME Productions and XLR Records. Dave is truly excited to be part of this positive, influential group of people at dMe Productions.

Shameka A. Jones is as a Pensacola, FL native.  She graduated from Pensacola High School in 1993.  She joined the U.S. Army in 1994 and served 6 years.  In 2002, she graduated with a B.S. in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University (Atlanta, GA).  Shameka enrolled into Connecticut School of Broadcasting (C.S.B), in Atlanta, GA, and completed radio and television broadcasting training in November 2004.  After graduating from CSB, Shameka interned with the Atlanta Talent Network and assisted with the development of "Ladies in the Locker Room", an all ladies sports casting show.  She also interned with WVPB, a Christian Television Network in Atlanta, GA.  Shameka was also active in her church, New Birth Metropolitan Church, where she served on the Video and Audio Ministry.

Shameka now resides in Pensacola, Florida and is a former student of dME.  She serves as the Video Program Director for Pensacola Life Church and as a staff member dME Productions and XLR Records.  Shameka is very grateful for the opportunity to serve her community by leading as the Director of the 7 Angels Outreach Ministry Program.

John R. Hoskins, Jr. is president of Affluence Publishing, a graphic design, publishing, and consulting company.  An author and publishing/design instructor, he graduated from the University of West Florida in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in English-Writing.  With more than 10 years experience in publishing and graphic design, past professional positions also include newsletter editor & webmaster with the Escambia County School District, research assistant, non-profit administrator.
Steve Blast is a multi-platinum record producer born in Saint Louis, MO now working in the industry as an Urban Music Publisher and Record Producer. Blast started his music career in 1998 with a project studio recording local Saint Louis demos. In 2001 Blast produced and published the song "BATTER UP" that landed on the Universal Music Group release Nelly's "Country Grammar" album. Batter Up was Nelly's third single off his debut album accompanied by a video featuring Sherman Hemsley "George" from the Jeffersons and was played in all Baseball stadiums country wide. Steve Blast is RIIA certified multi-platinum record sales to date over 8,000,000. Blast went on to be on the next project "Free City" and also was on "Da. Derrty Versions".Blast Music Publishing is a Sony/BMG, Universal Music Group, NAMPA affiliate.

His experience includes: over 10 years programming tracks and creating songs using Akai MPC 2000, 3000, and 4000 drum machines. Blast is very knowledgeable in Reason, Logic 7 Express and all midi production theory. Intellectual property law, copyright and music publishing literate, Steve is registered with rights agencies and very skilled at negotiating win/ win situations. Blast has had O.J.T. training supervising street teams and fine tuning marketing strategies for Urban neighborhoods with amazing results. Steve Blast is always looking forward to meeting and working with new and established talent taking their craft serious. With all this passion and experience, Steve came to DME & the Gulf Coast region to make a difference in the lives of our clients and students.
